Duke can materialize shadowy circles that are primarily used to absorb the fear in other beings. They're a strange extension of himself and appear weightless as they float and dart about in mid-air. When a mass number are in motion, they resemble a flock of insects or birds.

They are difficult to hit, except by wide-range attacks. Depending on his strength/health, Duke can have them travel miles away, usually as look-outs. He can also use them to sense other things and uses them to eavesdrop on others, which is more commonly what he uses them for.
